The U.K. energy regulator Ofgem has recently revealed that 5.1 million customers switched gas and electricity suppliers in 2007, the highest level of switching in over five years. So many customers are switching in order to save money, after all of the U.K.’s six major energy suppliers raised their energy bills this year, Ofgem said.
