Summertime is upon us and soon it will be time to dust off those garden items being stored in the garage or the shed, ready for some alfresco living over the next few months. Children will be out on their bikes, adults mowing the lawn or enjoying a glass of red overlooking the garden and if the weather holds out some of us could even manage a barbeque or two! Summertime is a happy time with most people enjoying the extra light and heat, however so do alfresco thieves. Research shows that by mid-august claims are significantly higher compared to the beginning of the year, by up to 60 percent. Landlords and tenants, as well as homeonwers, can be affected.
